Special Offers
Everybody loves getting stuff for free! And when you are already spending so much money on baby STUFF it is hard to understand why you need to spend even more on learning about it - especially if most of the stuff you need is available on the internet and in books.
I KNOW that what I have to offer is worth every cent that you invest in it.
The time and money that you spend on PREPARATION is YOUR guarantee of a positive birth experience.
No-one forgets their experiences of giving birth, so it makes sense to do all you can to make sure that it is as positive as possible – and no, that doesn't necessarily mean a whale-song home birth. If you were buying a new car or choosing a holiday you’d be making numerous conscious decisions from the very start of the process.

What’s important to you about this experience and what isn’t?
How many times do you think you’re going to give birth in your life? When I ask women to tell me about what their ideal birth experience would be, they focus on the physical. Not too much pain; not too much intervention; no scary moments or sudden surprises.
But research suggests that the women who come through birth feeling good about it aren’t necessarily those who escape without stitches: in fact, the actual method of birth seems to have very little to do with it.
Instead, being included in the process – feeling that you were part of the decision-making, that you were well supported and had established a good, trusting relationship with those caring for you – is the most important factor.
It’s easy to get swept along by a tide of health professionals who don’t always offer us a choice, and we go along with it, because we’re told that’s just the way it is.

Being well prepared may improve your level of satisfaction and feeling of having been in control, particularly if you have learned decision-making techniques. Women report that making a close group of friends – for example at the birth preparation classes – makes an enormous difference to their experience of the postnatal period.
